Gabion basket is an ecological grid structure. Woven Gabions are regularly used in industrial and enviromental applications providing a cost-effective alternative where the visual impact of the gabion is less important.
But the woven gabions give the same efficient drainage and flexibility as weldmesh gabions and installation can be carried out quickly and easily by unskilled labors without sprcial tools.
The woven gabion units are manufactured with a double twist woven hexagonal wire mesh with a core of 2.7mm and jointed with 2.2mm tying wire which included in the cost along with the quotes. You can choose from Galvanized, galfan or PVC coated wire to suit the relevant application and required lifespan.

This property is especially important when a structure is on unstable soil conditions or in areas where scour from wave action or currents can undermine the toe of the structure and cause structural settlement.
